Oh...I like this one too...lovely. This sure is on my to do list. Thanks.
Beautiful work Chris!
Thanks so much Charlotte, it's really very easy, just straight sewing. Love Chris
Hi Chris, love the prints and Spotlight is great with their specials... bought $120 worth of cotton wadding for 2 quilts i am making for $65 i just love their vouchers they send you looking forward to seeing more totes...soozie
Hi Soozie, yes, when they have a sale it's always great to get in and buy up stuff! Love Chris
Great bag. Great buy at Spotlight. May have to call in as we will be driving past today. Hugs
That is a beautiful bag. Can't wait to see the others when you get them done.
What unusual fabrics. That's a great color combination for that bag. She'll be able to use it with a lot of different outfits. Well done!
Your bags are turning out great,Chris. I will make a tote, like they show here, but not till the 'bag bug' bites me again. Right now I have ITH toy fever-lol- Trying to get something for boys so I can move on...maybe to bags, who knows. Yours look great
Thanks so much Toogie, hope your ITH toy fever last a bit longer, been enjoying them immensely. Love Chris
Wow, Chris this is another beauty...Meganne is probably drooling...how will she ever wait until November??? What a super buy on fabric you got too...I need to come shop with you!
Ha ha ha! I hope she doesn't look at this post! I'm so happy with the fabrics I got too. Love Chris
Wow, what a stunning tote, Chris......the colors are beautiful and dramatic!
Love the colors! I might just have to make one of these!
just as pretty as the blue one, nice of you to get their color choice. also nice of you to make these bags. LOL!
great bargains & they are sure exciting to find. I'm sure Meg will love her tote!~hugs~
Wow! I'm going fabric shopping with you!! (like I NEED more fabric, LOL) This bag is beautiful!
For those US Cuties who are looking for the foam fusible Jenny uses in her tote bag - I came across it at my local Viking Dealer (inside Jo-Ann's) - it ain't cheap! LOL! $22.95 for the 18x58" package, but they have it in white and BLACK. It's under their Inspira brand - but it's the same stuff.
Happy stitching!
Well, it's very expensive here too! Thanks for the compliment about my bag and fabric, love Chris
Lovely bags. I found some foam on Amazon, I think it was 52"x18" How many bags would I get out of that? Jo
Hi Jo, I'm afraid to tell you that for this bag size you cut out a piece 15 inches wide by 30 inches long - so you would only get 1 out of that amount with a 22 x 3 inch strip remaining!!!!! You might try making smaller cosmetic bags or something along those lines. Love Chris
Thanks Chris, I've just checked Amazon again and the price has halved since last week, and its 58"x18", so I could get 2 slightly smaller, so I'll treat myself. Love Jo
Congratulations for the bargain Chris! The bag is beautiful but now the question is: Can Meg wait until your Christmas luncheon to get her bag?
lol.... Hugs, Lidia
Well, she is going to have to wait! 'Cause I don't have my luncheon till either late November or early December! Love Chris
Well done with the fabric bargains and this is a lovely bag and Meg will love it (PS if she doesn't please could I have it?)
When I finished typing my comment, I saw what you have written....... Are we telepathic? lol... Hugs, Lidia
You both must be 'fizzic' (as said like Pa from The Darling Buds of May). The word of course is supposed to be Psychic, but Pa being British would say the word like the above quote! (Physic)
Beautiful Chris your ladies will be thrilled this Christmas.. p.s. I'm still waiting for my delivery of foam had to send them a email this morning..
It took a few days for mine to arrive and I'm closer to Lismore than you are! Love Chris
