Isn't it amazing the things we find uses for, I couldn't sew with out my long tweezers I don't have fine manipulation of my fingers any more, so great for threading machines to pulling out threads or stabilizers.. Marian
Here's another - Scotch tape loops - for cleaning lint and mess off from around designs!
I have not found a good pair. I think I need to maybe get medical ones. The hemostats grooves are too big. anyway, I sometimes have to use the cosmetic because the utility pairs are worthless. Can I say "made in China"? Lol!
Hit a flea market. Know lots of dentist go there. The good ones are made in Pakistan. Good quality stainless. Get a pair with the thinnest point you can find. And make sure you can hold them closed. Super source for scissors also. Hair dressers get them there.
Yes, I have used them for a long time. The tweezers are great to aid in cutting jump stitches, also. I think we all started using them with the sergers. My sergers might have even come with one in the accessory box. Kay
Ahh yes. Have been using them for yrs. now. Hubby use to use them for his work and brought several of the long fine pointed stainless steel ones home. Have had several pair in the sewing rm for a long long time. Don't believe I could do without them now/lillian
I keep a pair of long tweezers by my serger. They really come in handy.

Those fine point tweezers are great too, to grab the thread if it breaks in the machine. I love it when we share tips and helps. It is fun to see what people come up with.
My own favourite tool is a pair of round nosed surgical forceps. I use them for all sorts of things.
I have several pairs of hemostats (surgical forceps) of many different sizes near each machine, the bathroom, the kitchen, etc. They are the BEST tool ever!!
I like them also, use to rescue the disposable ones at the hospital, wash them up good and bring them home. Like you have several different sizes.
Are tweeters the same as tweezers????
Good, I was thinking how strange to have a BIRD sitting next to your sewing machine - he he he! Love Chris
I think it was misspelled. I even went to look to see what tweeters looked like. Thought it was a new gadget.
I also use tweezers to get those little bits of stabilizer away from the back that are in the fiddly bits on the back of my embroidery.
