I too hate doing the taxes. But this year I bit the bullet and did them over the past weekend. So now I can relax and stitch. Hopefully it will go fast for you and the taxes will be filed and over with. Hugs, Mary
Here in Australia, anyone in business has to submit what is known as a 'Business Activity Statement' I choose to do ours every Month [can be a quarterly or even annual submission] So I enter all our Expenses and Income into a computer program. [I use MYOB] It spits out my BAS. Then about twice a year the Accountant comes to our house and downloads all the Tax stuff. Easy really. good luck, you'll be sewing soon.
Oh yes, taxes - yikes!! At least this year - hopefully, ours won't be near as crazy to get together - But, I would rather do anything than get tax stuff together and filling out everything!! Good luck! Laura*
I feel your pain! Isn't it comforting knowing others feel just as rotten, lol!
At least you are starting now. I tend to wait, because I rather do anything else.
That's how I am about organizing STUFF and cleaning house!!!!! Would rather embroider and knit than sew and finish weaving ends on knitted items. Really trying to finish projects before starting new projects, BUTTTTTTT, I am trying!!!! God bless you and grant you PEACE!!!!!!
I know how you feel. I am so blessed because my husband gets it all together for the accountant and that is a terrible job in itself. I am so grateful he does it because the accountant would hate me if I had to do it. Be a good girl and set a limit of what you need to get done that day. Then if you get it done, find a design. The next day, get the fabric ready. At least the 10 minute steps make you feel like you are doing something fun each day instead of the drudge of the taxes.
Oh Camylow, I know exactly how you feel! I do the same thing every year and then once it is done, I say to myself "why did you wait, it was not as bad as you thought it would be"! So bite the bullet, girl, and get it done. Hugs. Nan W
I hope that you can find the time to get it all done Deanna. Just do a bit at a time and you'll find it goes quickly. Love Chris
