Love the faces on your snowball collection. Where did you get the faces from? Happy stitching. Baby Arthur is a lucky baby.

embroidery garden I think or maybe Kim's

dragonflyer by dragonflyer 17 Feb 2015

No, not mine...these have the seam down the face and mine do not...

ethan by ethan 17 Feb 2015

Yes they are from Embroidery garden, Charming station also have some nice designs for snowballs but are made differently

NancyBT10 by NancyBT10 18 Feb 2015

Oh, they are made differently from dragonflyer's. I had not paid attention to the seam down the middle. Charming Stations doesn't either. I wonder if these from Embroidery Garden were easier to sew together in the hoop?

dragonflyer by dragonflyer 18 Feb 2015

Hmmm, hard to say...it depends upon what you mean by "easier" to sew together...from what I can see but not completely sure, you need to sew two pieces of fleece together on a regular sewing machine then try to hoop the curved piece to embroider the face...then sew the remaining individual pieces (perhaps 6) together one at a time on the regular sewing machine...just guessing here based upon what I can see in the picture...guess it is up to the individual to decide which is easier...

I just cut a lot of pieces and sew them together in two's. you embroider the faces on two sewn together and then add another four to make 6 pieces to each ball. A bit like a beach ball. I thought that perhaps two could be sewn and this could used for a template and just use 3 for the ball but the shape is not right, g
