Satisfaction is such a warm feeling.
Hope he has, at least, learnt to check the nozzle before filling in future..
O and all the other comments and observations!!!!!!!
It just makes me think----BEFORE I decide to give the finger: I MUST remember your experience and SMILE & WAVE & NOT extend the finger!!! You really got my attention and made me think. GOD bless you and keep you safe and continue your sense of humor.
by just waving and smiling you can get up there noses so much more because they cannot do anything back or complain about you so you get the gold star every time
what you are saying under your breath is another thing completely.
Vengeance is mine saith the Lord, I think he got paid back in full and you received a blessing for not rubbing it in/Lillian
Oh too funny! I hope you don't mind but this is one story I need to share.
Serves him right. It is very strange that he was even able to do that. We certainly cannot mix up the two fuels here in S.A. The nozzles on the fuel pipes are different sizes.
Well its the same here but you can put the smaller nozzle into the larger hole and that is what he did as he just didn't think to check what he was doing.perhaps he should get some glasses next pay day
I had to laugh at the end of your story. It sounds as though he got his pay back quickly. Now I bet he will be dishing out $$$$ for a repair bill. Serves him right.
Ha, ha, ha! Too funny. Get 'em with a smile! When someone wants to flip their finger to me, I smile broadly and wave and wave like a lunatic! Just before reading this I receive an email back from a very well known embroidery design company that I purchase from regularly. I have gone out of my way to applaud their beautiful designs. I simply asked if their newest design was offered in a smaller hoop without the flourishes/embellishments. Well, what a rude response I received. I replied asking what in the world had I done to offend. Of course, no further response from them. Karma...yep, glad that you brought that up today...now, I can smile knowing the good or the bad you exhibit towards others WILL come back to you ;-) I am glad you witnessed Karma in action, I can just imagine your huge grin!
Well i sure hope you get the karma you deserve for your tolerance of this rude and thoughtless company . Word of mouth is the best advertising and they could loose customeers by their actions. Have you thought of investing in sewwhat pro. you can use the free to download thirty day trial to not only reduce the design to fit your hoop but also to remove the part you do not want.Or add parts from another design. I use it all the time for that purpose
Thank you for your kind embroidery software program suggestion! I will be sure to look at sewwhat pro when I get the opportunity to buy software. It sounds like it would do the things that I am most interested in, or have need for, at this time. Sadly, oftentimes when small companies become better known, and their customer base much larger, they become ruder to the people who helped build their business. I agree word of mouth can be the best advertising.
Hugs & a flower to you NancyBT10. Hope you receive a better response from that company one day. But don't hold your breath. Some companies are great and make a smaller hoop design available without side flourishes from a large hoop design or for a few hoopings. Sometimes the design doesn't look so good without the flourishes, but if they thought that removing them for you would spoil the look they were after, they could have said so nicely.
I believe what goes around, comes around!
Have a great day.
Yes, Karma is wonderful. Especially when you can witness it. Keep smiling'
As ye sow, so shall ye reap! (did I spell sew right?) Jo
yep that is instant! Unfortunately it will not stop him from doing similar actions again, It sounds like a way of life.
Way to go calm and collected.. he may think twice next time..
yeah gotta laugh at that one, serves him right huh...I wonder if he will be quick to jump in front of another car.....I very much doubt it...
So nice you held your cool all the way through....such a better way to life.
bet he will remember that day for a long time and if he was married sure hope his wife gives him a bad time
It served him right after being so rude. Think he learned anything?
Hope he had fun draining the tank. Showed he wasn't so smart after all.
had to pay for a specialist to do it and he must have wasted half his day waiting around
Good. Shows that pushing in before others doesn't pay. He received his just desserts.
Ha, ha. Best of all you had nothing to do with it. I wish I could have seen the big grin on your face.
Well that just made my day too!!! It's nice to know that Karma is still working. Some days I have my doubts. But this was good!
Thank you for sharing!!!!!!!
Proverbs 14:29 "Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly."
How true and I think he got what he deserved! Well done to you Annie. Love Chris
I am glad you didn't do like Kathy Bates, on Fried Green Tomatoes, when those girls thought they were smart, taking her place she had been waiting for. Although, I can understand perfectly how she felt!
That's one of my favorite movies. I picture myself doing what Kathy did but I'd hate to mess up my car...lol
Im very proud of you staying calm ,I feel sorry for the offender ,he must be so unhappy
God has a great sense of humor. See, you didn't even have to lift" a finger.
I'll bet that made your day!!!!! They say revenge is sweet but oh...what satisfaction you must have felt!!! LOL
Irene
Oh! Thanks for the chuckles your story gave me! And good for you for maintaining your own dignity throughout this little ordeal!
well i had no dignity left when i told my daughter as we both sat and laughed at the episode
Got what he deserved. It couldn't have happened to a nicer person. I would have given a little giggle as I walked away.
He deserved that. I wouldn't want his repair bill. Maybe he has learned his lesson, not to butt in line. I think it looks good on him, what a JERK. I bet you were smiling for miles, I know I would be.
What a jerk! Even if he had a legitimate need for speed, there is never an excuse for boorish behavior. Glad you got the last laugh and thanks for sharing it with us.
Serves him right. I love it when people get what they deserve!!!!
Good for you! Karma is with you. And I believe God was, too.
Wow what an idiot... Serves him right for being nasty... Suzanne
.....sounds like it couldn't have happened to a "nicer" guy!!!
That must have given you such a good feeling!!! Serves him right!
What do they say "Good things come to those who wait" i be you ad a smile on your face all day....soozie
That's what I call rough justice! For the other guy that is.
great story.. I sometimes think, .. as long as you wait enough .. bad behaviour will catch them in action. He, he , I'm smiling now.
Should only happen to a prefect gentleman, I hope the rest of his day goes as well.Beat your smile was pretty!
