I look forward to seeing your finished picture, Is it a prayer?. This seems a very simple way to put it in the frame, I do hope the pins don't go rusty and leave marks all around the picture. G
I agree about the pins although the video showed they were using stainless steel pins which will not rust ;-) Unfortunately, a lot of the straight pins in the stores are not stainless steel. With the right pins however this would be a super easy way to frame a finished project!
Thanks for asking this question. I recently tried to frame a prayer and it did not turn out well. The video was very helpful.
Here is a link to a video of a very ingenious way to frame your embroidery without any damage to it.

Hope this will work as I'm getting a link error.
This is perfect timing for me! I just finished a gift of embroidery & was ready to put it in the frame. Thanks for posting the video. It is total genius!

Wow!! A lot easier than what I usually do, and not as costly as having it done. I like to mat mine so emb. does not touch the glass but I do believe this will work by laying mat inside frame and then proceeding as instructed on U Tube/Lillian
I never 'stick' any cloth projects to the cardboard backer. Instead, I wrap around the cb and tape to the back side. Any form of "stickum" will eventually come right thru the fabric. I'm assuming you are talking fabric poem?
