I bought something similar at Walmart. Spay then put in the microwave for 30 seconds or let it dry by itself. I have done both. Works great when I am using my slice machine. When wash it is soft. I use it a lot.
Thank you everyone for commenting. I will pass the information on to my friend. She is new to embroidery, but is away from home at the moment.
Lots and lots for her to learn...

I watched the video and it looks OK but I add my left over WSS to water and put in spray bottle and spray on towels. let dry and then stitch on towels without having to use WSS. works well
I don't see how it is any different than starch. For that price, I'd want something that I don't already have.
there are videos on you tube showing how it works

In my area it is being sold as a tool to stiffen fabric sufficiently to cut with the Brother Cut n Scan machine. I recently attended a Hope Yoder event featuring the Cut n Scan and this is one that she recommends. Our table certainly found out the hard way what happens if the fabric is not stiff enough and the mat is not clean.
that's quite a price tag for regular price wow just noticed the shipping cost OUCH! Mary Ellen's Best Press works just great & I use it all the time & I think I can handle the price tag on it. If you compare reg spray starch @ $3-$4 the best press is $10-$11 but it will not leave that icky white stuff all over it so well worth the price. Just my 2 cents worth lol ~hugs~
i am from south africa and we do get a product called sew nice an avelon stabilizer spray for easy hooping and it works like a charn special on fabrics like organza to embroider flowers ect. so wonder if its similar
