Rain event in Queensland after the Cyclone Marcia. Well we are copping a huge amount of rain windy but no strong winds as such. We are only 30 or so minutes out of Brisbane on the coast. Yard is flooded ankle deep. Hoping any Cuties farther north have not had any damage.

I had not heard about the cyclone because my eyes have been tuned to the Northeast of the USA Please, everyone be safe. Don't take chances.

Glad you are safe. My 3 daughters are in Brissy. Narangba was hit hard and 3rd daughter had to sandbank. 2nd daughter didnt cope it as bad at daboro, 1st daughter, nonna57sdaughter1 here at cute had over 400ml rain , pretty waterlogged. Hope all cuties up there in QLD safe .

babash are you north of Brisbane. I have just come home from Brisbane after lunch to-day. What a trip. I am 20 minutes south of border and the river here is up. and we are getting flood warnings. Hugs Marg

Yes north of Brisbane got 138 mils of rain.

Saw about Australia last night on the news. Hope not too much damage. Keep safe
