Yep Have a little Easter tree daughter gave me quite a few yrs. ago. Get it out and decorate every yr. the Great grands love it/Lillian
I've seen these trees in stores, but don't know anyone who actually has one. Yours is so cute I may have to go out and get one just so I can decorate it!
I love your tree. You have a great idea in using the decorations as an added gift for the day for guests. I hope they start their own Easter tree with the decorations.
Those FSL eggs look nice!
Easter trees - or rather bare branches of some varieties of twisted willow or witch hazel - hung with decorated eggs are quite traditional here. There are fairs selling those fragile and often lavishly decorated eggs - from tiny ones, lots of chicken and duck eggs, to the occasional large ones. Used to blow out eggs and have the children paint them when they were young and they would cut a branch from the twisting willow I especially grew for that purpose. Have not seen a fair advertised yet, but chain stores are already selling things.
thanks! I know mine is a bit primative. I don't mind at all. I put it on top of the serving tables and presto chango. Easter decor. It's for fun.
I had never heard of these trees until joining this site, saw several pictured last year. I thought they were delightful. Very nice tree and decorations idea.
What a lovely idea i really like it .Hugs Carolyn
Thank you. I try to come up with different ideas. I made the tree from a 1x1 then added garland and pipe cleaners.
The final touch was the Egg Pockets...Have to make a new keepsake this year.
