Does anyone know if vilene is toxic for dogs? My puppy seems to have found some and chewed on it. Don't think he actually ate much. I always have considered it to be a starch, but really don't know if there are chemicals in it.

Ok. Thankfully, he's fine. It must look like toy fiber stuffing that he loves to tear apart...or a melt in your mouth treat!

Watch him carefully for 48 hours. He should be fine. Puppies are very hardy. If you are really worried, take him to the vet - just to make sure.

Please let us know how your puppy is. This is a scary situation. I had never thought of a child or animal ingesting any stabilizer.
