I bought a few of these designs too and made the bunny in the 4 x 4 with thick fleece(didn't think to look up other comments first) I did have some trouble and my machine got all caught up in the jump stitches and was knocked out of alignment before I could stop it. I restarted my machine and it was ok but decided to assemble the ears, arms and back by sewing machine. After all they are designed to be turned inside out over and over again so I figured embroidery thread would not hold the test of time.
These are so cute but I will make them in the larger hoop from now on as I found the 4 x 4 size just too fidly.
Since I had trouble with the 4x4, I must add that I purposely didn't put any fabric on the ears and feet on my trial. Also, I should have used my thinnest fleece. So......don't be afraid, just be selective! It's just too cute!
Oh dear, what size did you make. I have all of the peekaboo animals making them for the grands while they're still young enough not to mind a stuffed animal. Marian
I made some of these, but, left a space for the ears and arms and added them on the normal sewing mach. I could then put the 2 backs on easily with the emb.mach....wendy
What size needle did you use? If I try one , maybe I should try one size larger. They are cute!
The design was redone. Check to see if you have the revised design
Sorry you had such trouble ,but it did turn out cute.
I hope I do not discourage anyone from stitching this bunny. It may work great for you. I was only relating my experience with it.
Well he is really cute but I too get frustrated real quick when I break needles/Lillian
Very Cute Bev. If you had trouble with this design just imagine the trouble I could get myself in if I had a go. Will give this one a miss. hugs Marg
Very cute! I will gladly make the bigger ones again but never the 4x4 again. Good for you to finish!
He/she is so cute. As I say there are some things in life you only do once.
Although, like the gecko he/she is cute, but when it is too much trouble, they take the 'fun' out of making them. I am glad you set it aside but still finished it. ....The gecko stitched well, the design was good, but if someone has trouble with their hands, they were just too much of a struggle to turn. I couldn't see making more of them.
It's adorable...despite your trials and tribulations making it!!!
She looks really sweet despite your problems.
Bev, he/she is adorable........great work especially in the face of adversity!
I'm so glad you persevered with this little bunny she looks gorgeous. Sorry about all the needle breakages! Love Chris
He is cute but i would be with you and not make another lol
Well done:):)zHugs
Oh Bev this is so adorable! I know it was a struggle but you did a really good job on it! So cute!!!!~hugs~
