This is the little owl that caused me so much pain the other day. I had to finish it off by hand as it moved in the hoop and I couldn't get it back. Hence the flower instead of the embroidered Hearts on the belly, and the beak just a little different and crooked. Plus I have added some updated photos of my new addition taken just the other night.

I think the owl has character with its little crooked beak. I think you also 2 wonderful new family members. Enjoy watching them and thanks for sharing with us.

I also like the flower on the belly. Only problem they seem to move the little ones on as they get older, but I am 99.9% sure mother thinks my place is hers.

Great save on the little owl. The pictures of the joey and mother are wonderful. Only see that here if we go to the zoo. Thanks for sharing.

Does she have another joey in her pouch Lyn? They must breed like rabbits! Love the save on the Owl. Well done, love Chris

Chris, I have no doubt there is another very small one in the pouch. They seem to have one every year. I saw Joey feeding from Mum by just getting his face into the pouch, so they must feed longer even if not in the pouch
