How about a challenge for March?

I was thinking about Spring Cleaning (only thinking, I can assure you) and I had a look through my duster bag. This contains T-shirts which are well past their prime (to put it nicely!)

So here is the challenge: take an item of clothing that was ready for being thrown out and make it wearable again.

I found one and gave it a wash. I treated myself to a design from the current Urban Sale and the two are now getting to know each other under my embroidery foot.

I'll post a picture when it is finished.

Looking forward to seeing what you can all come up with......... The challenge is to revive an old garment - not necessarily to use a design from Urban!

I finally got mine done. Here are boot socks or leg warmers made from the arms of an old sweater that no longer fit. Hugs. Nan W

You Tube has the instructions on how to make a tote bag out of a T shirt. I keep my trash bags hanging in one in my pantry. Cute!

You don't have to buy a design! Use any you have,

Just in time - I am taking a bag of clothing and towels to Hospice tomorrow. I have found a white t shirt in the bag which I have hauled out. It is almost new but very stretchy so shows up all my lumps and bumps!! I will see what I can do. Thank you for the reminder that UT has a sale. Sarah

I can't believe that there is a lack of suitable garments lurking in your houses!

I, too, like Urban Threads! Some very different files. However, I also do not like skulls or Gothic...but that's just me.

The challenge does't have to use an Urban Design!

I love their designs---well digitized---stitch out well---seldom is there a REALLY THICK area---I do NOT do the Gothic or skulls or weapons---but I DO love their animals and just overall-in-general-designs (If anyone can figure out what I am saying!!) I am stitching out the new freebie adopt doggie design on a spare hand towel for doggie we adopted last summer. Thanks for your post and God bless you.
