good work Lyn. How much would I sell an embroidered T shirt for?? Or to be exact, just the embroidery? Local Kindy mums have asked about a logo. I worked out a $1 for each 1000 stitches, should I add a bit on to this? Opinion valued. Vicki from Eyre Peninsula.
Vicki, Sorry but I have no idea. Think your idea on how many stitches would be the best way to go.
Good to hear your day wasn't for nothing, the owls were to good to pass up. I use to find the same thing when I did a market stall years ago, they get up late and think what are we going to do today, oh lets go to the markets..
Good on you girl sold a lot, our markets start at 6 am - 1 pm I don't like to break the snow of my boots??????????????L Sherene from QLD
Glad out Markets don't start that early. Ours are usually
9 - 3 but there are always those who arrive earlier.
I'm glad your day ended up being successful. And very good news on your owls. Happy stitching now to get ready for Easter.
Brilliant news. People of good taste bought your owls as they were delightful. What else sold well?
My Kitchen Towels always sell, Coasters which I love. I usually make these in sets of various colours buy no one lady wanted them all the same colour.
I should sent you my kitchen towels, if you were not half the world away. Kay
That's great news Lyn. I am pleased to hear that the owls sold well. This will give some incentive to make more. Now you know what colours are popular you can get stitching for the Easter Market. Hugs Marg
Have so much I won't to stitch for Easter I shouldn't be on here. Might go and buy another ITH project.
Depending on the weather as to who comes early. The fresh vegie people will arrive in the dark race through and buy their weeks supplies and leave. Never looking at anything else. Serious buyers have a lazy breakfast and slowly walk the markets looking at everything. Meantime you are freezing your butt off thinking I should have stayed in bed.
Glad it worked out well in the end.
Had one lady.stopped for ages. Picked up everything and talked about that item. She told me that I had beautiful things and then walked off without buying anything.
Don't you love those ones Lyn. Also the ones who tell you they will be back later on - 99% of them you never see again.
People like this is what Stall Holders call 3P Customers. Pick Up, Put Down, Pi** Off.
Yes I have heard that description at some of the craft fairs I have participated in.
