Love! Love! Love it!! It would be perfect in my home :-) Amazing use of super fabrics and the bees are gorgeous too!
seems to me the old paper piecing is making a comeback. I saw a mini one the other day on a Patchwork facebook page called Patch 'n' Paint for Pleasure. Yours is lovely Sue and the bees are very attractive
Wow, are you talented and so clever Sue! This pillow is just BEAUTIFUL!
That is one gorgeous pillow! Hexagons were one of the first things my mother taught me,using newspaper as a base-sooo long ago. Along with an ooo for seeing your pillow, you brought up an nice memory.

What a lot of work with all those little hexagons Sue, it's so Spring like! Love Chris
Beautiful Sue, love the background and bee. I am working on my second grandmother's flower garden, English paper piecing. I find it is a great traveling project. G
Very nice pillow. Thank you for the idea to use up some scraps. Like your chair the pillow looks like it was made for the chair.
Happy Stitching!!
Looks fab! I love the addition of the bees, they look completely at home on the honeycomb!
The first quilt I ever intended to make was hand sewn hexagons - ended up as a cushion cover in 60s and early 70s fabric.
mine was a tea-cosy, but very boring as I was only given green and white check, & green/white floral. [it was for a display] still have and it's still unused. what a waste!
Yes, I have. And a box with cut-out hexagons both from fabric and old playing cards. I really should ...
What a creative way to embellish hexagons! It never occurred to me that they look like a honeycomb when put together. Great job and a beautiful pillow!
