NOTE This is a old post over a year old before loads of others add to it
I think it is great I need it..
I think you did a great job several folks are needing designs like this how can they contact you?
I'm with the rest -I think this is fantastic and your customer doesn't know how well off she is. I don't think I'd be trying to please her anymore if I were you -not worth your time and effort!
Looks realistic to me! Maybe you can change the colours. We are inclined to like things in "our" colours best.
This is great! Both DH and myself use inhalers....I would love to have this too!
I think yours is PERFECT! I use an inhaler and would love to have this! Crazy Lady!
Too bad that your customer is dissatisfied with your design. Some people are truly difficult to please while others are easy to please - stick with the second group ;-) Most importantly, don't get discouraged!
Well, as soon as I saw it I immediately thought of an Asthma inhaler. So I think it's fantastic! Good luck with it all, love Chris
Some people are really fussy. If she needed it in a hurry it would not matter one bit what the inhaler looked like as long as she got it in time. Ask her to get you a design and you will embroider it, then she will realize that you have done a marvelous design.
You did a great job capturing what an inhaler really looks like and if she carried it in her purse it would be very obvious to anyone helping her in case of an emergency. If she is sensative about needing to use one, perhaps she thought it was too big or didn't want the wording(although I don't know how anyone else would know what was in the little pouch!!) Maybe you could do a different shape- make one like something you would carry a lipstick or lipbalm in. Good luck finding out what she was thinking.
I don't digitize, but I'm pretty good at embroidery and I can't find a thing wrong with this.
Looks fine to me. Did she say what she doesn't like about it? Maybe a black outline on the inhaler would make it stand out a bit more. As others have said people who can't do it always want the impossible.
My Asthma Inhaler looks just like that, i dont see whats not realistic about this one, maybe she should try and digitize one herself. I think you did a great job.
Welcome to Cute,
hugs,

And yet another Cutie says this is a great piece of work. I have found it interesting over the years that those who cant/don't are very free with their 'helpful' advice/comments. I would quote for another but be able to break the quote up for time, materials, profit etc then maybe they would appreciate where the money goes. Welcome to Cute and I would love to see some more of your work in projects
Looks great to me...not sure I'd want her as a customer...
I think this one is great. You did an excellent job designing it. What more does she want.
Your customer obviously has no concept of what's involved in creating a new design. Your design looks great and should serve the purpose. If you do find a more realistic one with a hefty price tag, share that info with him/her. They may decide that yours will do nicely. You might also let them know how much time you spent searching for it. Time is $$$. Good luck.
Make HER draw a picture and then maybe someone can digitize it for you. Or look for images on Google or check with clipart sites. Someone on Cute will be able to help you with sites for clipart that can be purchased or whatever you need to do to use and get them. Good luck. God bless you.
Yes, I think having her draw it herself will make her realize what you have is better than she thought. At least you will know know what she had in mind. Kay
I think it looks great! Inhalers come in different shapes and sizes!
