WOW~!!!!!it is absolute very stunning and very nice and beautiful loved it all the bags
They are all beautiful ,but I still like the aqua one the best though the black & white bag will probably go with more outfits.
Hi Judy, it will certainly go with all my things as I wear black and white everyday. Sometimes I'll add a splash of colour with a jacket. Love Chris
Fabulous work as always. Love the black and white especially.
Love these wonderful bags you have made each one differently your ladies will love them. I have made a black and white one for my DIL cannot show till I have given it to her.. love these they are really easy and fun to make.
Hi Sally, is she a member on here that you can't show it? I personally love black, white and grey all together. Love Chris
they are wonderful I think the white and black one will be great. They are very colorful and attractive.
Hi Chris, I'll have the black and white one please(lol) ....I am sure you wll love the show. I also saw he original Jesus Christ Superstar i n Sydney many years ago it was fantastic...have a great day...soozie
You'll have to stand in line Soozie!!!!
The show was fabulous - such wonderful talent up here in Newcastle and the surrounding area. Love Chris
They are all beautiful, I love the black and white.
They are all lovely, Chris...I would like mine done in jewel tones...It's okay if you finish it after you do the black and white one... :)
Now that would look gorgeous Kim! I'm partial to the winter tones in magentas, bright blues, emeralds, turquoise etc. That would really vibrant! Love Chris
They all look beautiful the grey one is my favorite.......
Are you working on my purple one next???Love them hugs Carolyn xx00
your bags are just terrific Chris, Enjoy the show, when it was here hubs & I went & it was spectacular! ~hugs~
Thanks Loralye. I will enjoy it, we are going out to lunch first and then the show.
Trevor will go into Amy's tomorrow morning and mow their lawns etc. I'm going to go over to Dana's and just tidy up before they come home on Sunday. Amy asked me to just check to make sure everything was neat and tidy. Amy has been staying there the past couple of nights and she said things were chaotic!!!!! Love Chris
So pretty..Lot of work done !!!!Gorgeous
Thanks Sonja, yes a lot of work, but they sew up really quickly. Love Chris
They are beautiful - great color combinations. There will be a lot of happy ladies carrying great totes. :)
Like Sarah I thought that there was a row of cushions... just shows how wrong I was. What a great collection of super bags Chris. I am just amazed that you are so organised for Christmas. Enjoy Jesus Christ Superstar
Thanks Caroline, he he he! No, I'm not taking orders. Anyone can do these, they are so easy. As I said lower down if you could get something else that gives the same effect I'd use it in a flash. The Bosal is very expensive for such a small amount - it's sold by 25cm lengths!!!! - mind you it's 147cm wide, but you don't get much out of that size, so you have to have it much longer! Love Chris
Chris, when I first looked I thought your sofa had cushions on. LOL. I just love the one on your machine. I would love to tackle a bag like this but just not brave enough. Your totes are lovely. Hugs Sarah
Hi Sarah, This is the Sofa that Ophélie sleeps on. It pulls out to a bed and then we put it back as a Sofa. Go on have a go at making one - it is very easy and a quick gift idea. You could make this on other types of heavy duty wadding if you can't get the Bosal InR form in South Africa. It's very expensive and I'm sure there would be some other sort of fabric/lining/wadding whatever you call it to use. The good thing about the Bosal is that it has a sticky topping which your fabric is ironed to. Thanks once again, love Chris
On Mum's one I have put the floral fabric on each corner, so that when it's sewn up the side the edges will match. Love Chris
Ethan suggested that capillary matting could be a good substitute. I'm going to look into it. Perhaps it would work with some permanent spray adhesive.
Drats! It's just gone 8.00am here on Saturday morning and Trevor has already been to Bunnings and is off into town to do Amy and Steve's lawns etc. If I'd known he was going there I'd get him to look into it - wait a minute, no, I think I had better go look for it! I know what he's like!!!!! Thanks for that idea Ethan and thanks Sue for passing it on here too. Love Chris
They are all great, I love the black and white one, but I would like to see a green one. My favourite colour.Hugs.
Thanks Lynn, my favourite colour combination is black, white and grey. I don't like greens, so unfortunately you'll not be seeing one! Love Chris
They looked fantastic, not sure if I can make the flight over for this special lunch! Love them all but I think I will reserve the blk and wht for myself. :)
You'll have to stand in line I think for the black and white one too. Thanks for commenting, love Chris
They are all great but I think I like your newest one the best! I'm partial to black and white. Hope you enjoy the show too!
Thanks Roxanne. I'm partial to a good musical stage show. I know all the songs so well, it will be hard for me not to sing them out loud! Love Chris
Wow the bags look great Chris ....I too like the aqua most in that row....even your mom's a good one but black. ..white and grey sounds the best ;)
Hi Therese, I'm thrilled with them all and as I've done each one I've done something a little bit more. I didn't quilt the first two (Aboriginal print and the Aqua one). I then quilted the rest and the last three - the two red and green ones and the brown one on the end I've put the girl's initials on them. I'll put Mum's initial on hers too tomorrow. Love Chris
