Your bowl turned out very nice. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Stitching!
It's quite a pretty basket! Very unique. I love the bow you added!
I don't quite understand what you meant about the stabilizer not washing out 100%. The stabilizer is suppose to stay in the basket. When it gets wet it soaks the threads, then dries and it makes the basket stiff. If you should ever wash it, you'll have to use one of the fabric stiffeners that are on the market.
Thank you for appreciating!
No dear I didnt mean that the stabiliser didnt wash out 100% ....I didnt want it to either! Actually my pieces started curling up on rinsing which never happened with my previous FSLs! Ironing between 2 layers of fine cotton flattened them and fixed the problem but I wasn't 100% happy with the dried pieces :)
But it was fine for my first basket!
It is a very nice basket. Nice with the black contrast
VERY nice and the design is beautiful!!!
I like that you held the basket in one of the pictures, it gives a sense of the actual size!!
I found a free download of your basket with the bow tie on the side and a square base....which also has a handle in FSL!
Sorry dont remember from where....but I went through 1 of the old links here on cute...thanks!
Your basket turned out beautifully. We wouldn't have known you Werner an expert without your previous thread about the curling. I like the added bling, making it extra sparkly beautiful. --Sandra
You should be very proud of your efforts. This is beautiful. Love it. You certainly are trying out all that your machine is capable of doing. Enjoy. I love bling. Hugs Marg
You have finished this beautifully. I saw your previous post on this. Love the colours too. The bling is just the right amount of sparkle.
You have done a great job. Love the bits of bling.
Absolutely brilliant for your first FSL basket and I love the addition of the little rhinestones! I'm very partial to black, white or silver. I love the effect of the silver thread with the black it really makes it stand out. Well done for persevering on this!!! Love Chris
Thanks a lot!
I too wanted to make it black but I didnt have a big spool of the rayon embroidery thread which I wanted to specifically try out this time for my FSL so used this very dark blue....
almost black ;)
You did a beautiful job. Be proud of it and enjoy making many more.
