Wow you have been busy! I love the black and white. My daughter went through a black and white period one. Everything in her closet was black and white and a touch of red. Kay
Hi Kay, everyone who knows me, knows me as the lady in black! I've been wearing it for years!!!!!!!!!!! 2/3rd's of my wardrobe is black. I've also got other colours to wear with it, mostly purples and red. Love Chris
They are all fantastic Chris. You do such beautiful work/Lillian
Very nice bag. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching!!
Quite lovely! I'm working on Spanish through Duolingo. It's free and it also has Italian if you want to give it a try.
Good morning Jerrilyn, thanks for your comment and yes, I use that every night. One of our ladies at Italian class recommended it to us. It's not the same as learning it from a credited teacher though and our teacher is an ex-journalist! Very good learning the grammar from scratch. I don't even remember learning it in English, let alone Italian!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Chris
I LOVE these! They are all fantastic! You do inspire. I really have to try one of these!
Hugs, Nadyne
Hi Nadyne, thanks so much. Give it a go, they are really easy. Using scrap fabric would be just as effective. As long as you get a co-ordinating fabric theme going I think any colour combination would look great. Love Chris
Let me know when you are going to start taking orders
Just love your bags.
I love your black and white theme.I watched the videos and I agree that the R form plus is a bit pricey. This bag could be made much cheaper by just using some quilt batting. I don't see why the double sided adhesive is necessary since you are quilting the bag anyway. I watched some other videos that made totes using the same basic ideas but were made with quilt batting. Okay, so they don't stand up by themselves, is that really a big issue? I made a tote out of canvas and that one stands up by itself so you could use canvas for your foundation.
I agree with you. If there was something else that could give this same effect I'd use it. I'm going to search out that stuff that ethan has suggested. I actually used Pellon in a couple of the bags handles to see what it would be like. It's not as strong, so I used wool batting and that isn't the same either. As I said down lower in Trish56's post - using a stronger fabric would give the same effect I'm sure. Thank you for your input. Love Chris
Way to go love everyone but i still NEED a purple one ok??hugs as always Carolyn
Beautifully done. The laid out bag out on chair makes for a neat looking chair pad.
Thanks Mary, yes, I thought that! These would make great table runners too! Love Chris
Beautiful job Chris I love the bags and the fabric choices :)
They are very beautiful, congratulations!
Hugs, Lidia

Gorgeous bags Chris! You are so talented! Love, Yoriko
You can never go wrong with blk and wht ! Great job, the ladies are going to love them!
Thanks so much, I agree with you. Black and white is always practical. Love Chris
Wow!!! Your version is my favourite one Chris...very well done! I love the combination of black and white..... your prints are lovely too!
I am tempted to try one as well though never done any sort of quilting :)
Well it is very easy Fatima. It's just 2 and a half inch wide strips and you just cut it to whatever size you like. You sew two pieces together directly onto the Bosal and do whatever pattern you like! This is basically straight sewing. Then the quilting part is just the straight stitching on top of it. You could embroider this as well. I've put initials on some of the bags so I know who it belongs to! Love Chris
All your bags are gorgeous, I don't know which one I like the best, You have inspired so many cuties to make these, (me being one of them) I have ordered some of he stuff for the support, if mine turns out half as good as yours I will be happy. have you put pockets inside yours ?
Thanks Trish, no I haven't put pockets in these bags. I did in the first couple I made with the curved tops. You could easily do it by putting in a zippered pocket in the lining before you put it inside the bag. I'm glad you ordered some of the Bosal, it's great stuff, but very expensive for what it is. I'm going to look into the grass matting stuff that Sue said "ethan" recommended. There's got to be something cheaper than the Bosal! Or an alternative would be using a stronger thicker fabric!!!!!!! Love Chris
Chris, love all the bags, but the black and white are my favourites!
Posso venire anche io a mangiare a casa tua per Natale?
Grazie Maria, Anchio!
Certo, tu sei molto benvenuto! Ma che una lunga strada da venire!!!! he he he! Amore Chris
Well done, Chris, all of your bags are beautiful. It's hard to choose a favourite one but I think these black and white ones would be my choice.
Thanks Martine. I love the black and white ones too. I love the one that Sally has done in the black and white also. Love Chris
