Thank you for asking. There are several things we hope you all think about when posting here on Cute.
1. Is the idea your idea? If not do you have permission to share it? No? Then do not share it.
2. Is the picture yours? If not you must have permission from the owner to share it (some pictures are listed a free to share online) However, it cannot be shared in the Project section as that confuses folks and they might think the item/picture is yours.
3. Is is embroidery related? This is an embroidery site and so we love to see posts about embroidery! Posts in Projects really should be embroidery projects (we do allow most posts that use fabric to create...)
4. Are you just doing a copy and paste of another persons story or websites post? If the answer is yes, then it doesn't really need to be re-posted and shared here too.
5. We ask that you refrain from posting things you find in your personal emails. This includes the emails sent announcing embroidery specials for members only. Those emails are meant to be private and the specials are only intended for the members or recipients of the newsletter or email list. ***Remember much that is forwarded to your email or shared on Facebook or other social media sites can be questionable at best for the validity of the claims.
Please be sure to read the Terms and Conditions of this website by clicking on the link located at the bottom of each page.

Also, many Cuties avoid social media and most of us love Cute just the way it is.
Hmmm, so I guess that would be a "no" according to Jerrilyn...okay, got that...but why then can some post links to Facebook in the Freebies section? Is that okay or not...and if Facebook is a "No No"....what about Pinterest? Lots of illegal stuff there, too....
Pictures and videos can have links embedded in them. If you choose to follow a link, then that's all on you.
Since this is a volunteer job, we don't volunteer to police facebook and that is what we would have to do if pictures of ideas, pictures and videos were allowed. (This is my opinion and the other moderators may think differently.)
I agree with Jerrilyn. We try to be a little flexible and overlook some of the posts... but to "allow" links to social media would be a nightmare for all of us including Ms. Veronika. The bandwidth required to re-post pictures of everything interesting online would be costly.
thanks, good to know....sometimes I also wondered about...
Maria
No. Facebook is much too big and is not totally safe, nor is it free from illegal postings.
