Love this recycling idea! It would also be a good gift to make for anyone who scrapbooks. They could store scissors and pens in this.
How clever! Now if I can just remember this when I finish all my other projects,
Great idea, Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching Brenda Lea

Wonderful idea that I will be doing as soon as I finish my granddaughters "lab coat" that she will wear when she doctors up all of her babies. Embroidering all of her favorite animals all over it and of course the Dr. Kailey name over the pocket. Your idea is so practical and useful, thanks so much. Hugs and blessings from TN.
I did some similar ones as gifts for a couple of friends who have just started sewing. Now I think I need to make one for myself! :)
thank you! It always starts out that way doesn't it. I have seen these before but something just spurred me on to make this. Hope to find some hoops on the cheap. I like the older ones made of wood.
Thanks for the idea....I have a few hoops which will soon be coverted into this.
That looks very pretty. I've got one hoop like that, an 8"circular one that I use for free hand machine embroidery. My dealer has one wall decorated with dozens of them that have embroidery designs in them - makes you want to buy every new CD they offer
Looks fabulous and I'm so sorry you can't enjoy hand sewing anymore. Do you have Arthur? Love Chris
Thanks everyone. I did pull it a bit too tight before gluing the fabric on the back side. Next time i will fill the pockets first then glue. All the different fabrics and texture. What a beautiful addition to a sewing room wall. Decoration and organization. Well, let's say more organization. I clean it and then mess it up. LOL!
What ever works for you. I can't stand it. so I have to clean it. Then I think wow now I can find everything so easily lets sew...And another cycle begins. It is getting closer to another family Holiday so soon I will be in clean mode again in here....
This is a great idea for up cycling. I just wish I could find some of the old timey metal hoops. I like them better than the wood or plastic hoops.
I have the metal hoop that I used when my Mom taught to hand embroidery. Love you idea.

And just think, I just bagged up all sizes of these hoops, about 20 of them and gave to Goodwill. Looks like I should have hung on to them a while longer. I like what you have done/Lillian
great idea , I too have a number of hoops like this, not knowing what to do with them, was going to give them away..... not any more, ! thanks for the idea, and for sharing
What a clever idea! I have several hoop that would be perfect for such a project as this. Thanks for sharing.
