Congratulations and enjoy yourself and let us see what you buy. I was in North Wales four weeks ago but was not able to persuade my husband to visit. The last one must have been in his mind still. I have been to Abekhan in Mostyn a few times over the years and the one in Chester too. Do you want a bag holder to help you? Also have you visited Textile Express in Oswestry?

I have in the past treated hubby to a coffee and a paper and he can sit and chill for while

I have been to the Mostyn store and the liverpool one but not for a while. I believe the Mostyn store has had a big make over and it's more of a complex of lots of small buildings.

It is like a fabric village!

Jean they have a number of stores in the northwest ...liverpool ,Birkenhead, Manchester and Mostyn in north wales. The Mostyn one is more of a complex with cafe, restaurant and lots of small buildings for different crafts. The great British sewing bee program goes there a lot for stuff. Google them

I think that Mostyn was the first shop and its huge. One used to buy by weight, so you would pick up a piece and have it weighed to find out the cost
