I joined this site but probably won't renew because there is no way to search. Very difficult to navigate without a search tool. Another reason is because no one replies to inquiries. I have sent a couple of messages to no avail.

So sorry you are having problems. I belong to both sites and several others as well. You don't have to limit yourself to one and you are welcomed at most sites whether you are a paid member or not. Stick around after your paid membership expires and give yourself time to find our how nice the owner, moderator and other people on here are. By they way, it took me a while to learn how to navigate the Designs by SiCK site as well. The forum there can be quite confusing, but worth the time it takes to figure it out.

Hope you decide to give us a chance!!!

Sorry your having trouble, I was a member for a whole year before I knew how to comment and give flowers to others and I still can't post pictures or show my projects because I don't have the right browser or maybe just don't know how to use it but it's still my favorite site to go to.

There is a post in the q&a section that will help you with posting pictures. Let us know if you still need help after you read that post.

You don't have to have a (paid) membership to hang around and chat.

Hi Bobbie, I too get frustrated that there is not a straight out search feature on this site. But... I'll gladly do without that feature for all the support, help, friendship and encouragment I have found here at Cute. Cute is much more than designs. Welcome from Jan in Colorado. BOBBIE I am sorry you have felt ignored. There is a problem with the "Contact Us" and the owner has been trying to resolve the situation. We wish you had said something earlier. We would have tried to help.

You have a PM that includes all moderators. You can use it to get the help you need.

I'm sorry you feel this way. The differences between Cute and other sites are big. Here it feels like a community with cuties all over the world, who have more interests besides designs. There are always people who try to help when you have a request or a question. Friendships are born here. And you can show your projects, download lovely designs as a paying member and a free daily design for everyone, or sometimes there's a special giftdesign.
But coming to a new site is always difficult in the beginning, when there is so much to do on the site, besides downloading designs. But as long as your membership goes, try to find your way here. And I hope you understand why there are so many Cuties, who love to be here for a daily visit.

As others have said there is much more here than embroidery designs. One does not have to have a paid membership to post here. Yes there are some features that were here and are not anymore but that's not a problem and if one wishes one can search via google or the like to find what you want here. Most people download all the designs during membership and file as they wish. This method suits each individual as they know where they can find their designs. From clicking on your name and seeing the postings that you have made you have received over 40 replies. If you have not read through all the useful postings under Q&A that rescuer has written go and read them as it gives a insight as to how Cute works and if you have a problem contact a moderator. They are mops, rescuer and jrob. Jrob has already replied with information for you in this posting

I would say 20 days is not enough time to justify not finding your way around this site. Over 7000 pages. You have 6 months, give it time and enjoy your membership.

Hi Bobbie..sorry to hear you are having problem navigating the site...but I know if you spend a bit of time going through the Questions & Answers (Q&A) tab in the header above, lots of your questions will be answered. As greysewist has said, you can use the Google search...it doesn't always get you where you want to be, but it is a help...I find if I leave a question about embroidery in the embroidery tab to the left...I always get a response...if it is a question about how the site works...leave your question in the Q&A tab and a moderator or another Cutie will be along and give you guidance...but you need to come back and check for your answers...you can always do this by clicking on your name (the blue "Bobbie") and it will take you to the things you have posted...I hope you will give it another go...after all, you already have the membership...it is worth the effort! So, welcome...

Bobbie, perhaps it's a matter of you not understanding how to see the answers to your questions, which means you probably will not see any of these answers and that's truly a pity. I wish I could give you instructions in another way. I'm leaving a link to your page, with all of your questions and all of the many sweet Cuties who have stopped in to try and help and give you answers.

I am a member of designs by sick and love their designs so much I also buy the disc as a back up. However I still find myself coming back here as the members here have been so helpful. I will admit i have had my fair share of frustrations regarding searching but have found the beautiful designs and kind members here have made it worth staying.

Move your mouse over the headings and whenever it turns to a hand symbol you can go into it and comment. I find this such a fun place, full of wonderful women and men who have a love of embroidery. There is far more to this site than you realise. This community is the source of friendship, knowledge and support and questions are always answered in detail and usually extremely quickly. Why not make yourself a coffee, read through the Q&A section to find out how the site works and then browse through Community to see what you have been missing.

If you click on your own name your previous questions all come up. As far as I can tell there are answers to all of them. To search for things you can just use 'Google' or whatever search engine you use, or place a backslash then the word you are searching for after the Cute Embroidery address. There are lots of friendly people from all over the world who help folks here however they can. Most of them show lots of tolerance towards fellow sewists who can't always answer things instantly nor necessarily each have the knowledge to help in all situations :)

Hi, Bobbie and welcome to Cute. You will find all the designs here are perfectly underlaid (supported) and beautifully digitized, which is not true at many other sites. Someone will be able to answer your concerns better than I can, but the site owner/digitizer's primary language is not English and therefore our moderators try to answer questions. Look near the top of the screen and find Q&A and look around there for ways to search and many other helpful explanations! Hope you find your way around quickly. Also, did you notice Miss Veronica's four other sites across the bottom of the page? Some freebie gift designs and more good info there.

Hi Bobbie, sorry that you are having problems. I think we all do and did find the same frustrations you mention at times. I don't know where you've posted your questions; if I don't know an answer I'm certainly not going to waste your time by replying. I must also tell you I've been on here for a about a year and I'm still learning things. Don't get discouraged it just takes a little bit of time to learn. Life may get in the way of the right person answering you at the exact moments of your needs. Sometimes you just have to wait a bit. I for one haven't seen any questions from you or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. I haven't been on site regularly, but I will take the time now, to hope you have a better stay here and to Welcome you to a very nice, fun site. hugs Leaha

Hi Bobbie, Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I too have found that it is hard to remember where things can be found. But I look at the Cute site as a way of finding new friends who, like me love Sewing & Embroidery. I love reading through what the Cute members do & find inspiration in what they accomplish. Please do not be discouraged, as with anything new, it takes time to learn the ropes. Remember that the cute site not only have Machine Embroideries for sale, but also have Ideas from other Cute members. I hope that I have made you feel welcome.
