Love the flowers, reminds me of my Grandmother. Happy Stitching
great for hospital visits [some hospitals have banned real flowers] stunning work, congratulations Lyn. Hope your Easter Sale in Adelaide Hills goes really well. Cheers Vicki from Eyre Peninsula SAust.
Thank You Vicki. Sold a lot of the plants a couple of years ago for Christmas presents.
Oh these are beautiful. They look so nice and you have much patience to put all these together. Lovely.
oh my favorite flower Love them and love your towels to hugs
Miss Lyn, these are lovely! I should make me some of these African Violets, it is the only way I can keep flowers alive and they have an added feature for me...no watering. The towels are all wonderful, too. hugs
The Violets and or any of this type of 3D Embroidery takes time but it is certainly worth the effort.
absolutely beautiful. I love them...........would love to have your pattern so that I can make some for me and an Auntie of mine........... do you have a pattern for sale?
Which Pattern were you talking about. The violets -- The Flowers are from Embroidery Shoppe and the leaves are from Pam's 3D Designs - Oregon Patch Works.
Awesome, beautiful, fantastic specially the African Violets
Hi, the violets are beautiful, at least you don't have to treat them for insects etc. Hugs Maureen
Wow, Lyn....these are lovely...the Violets look so real...fantastic job on these...
Wish there were 36 hours in a day. So much I would like to make but not enough time.
Wow the flowers are just beautiful and what a great idea for the towels,
Everything is just beautiful. I love the realistic look of the flowers. The towels are great. Thanks for posting.
The owl designs stitched out beautifully on your towels. Those will sell quickly for sure. The African violets are so life-like. I can almost feel their fuzzy leaves from here!! Fabulous job.
The photo of the towels is an old one and almost sure all of these have gone. Hope to sell the African Violets next weekend.
Your display of items is lovely and the African Violets are amazing!
Lynn, the African Violets are absolutely gorgeous!
Absolutely beautiful Lynn, how long do these take to sew out? How many leaves do you have to make for each set? Love Chris
Chris, I haven't really timed myself but there are 12 flowers, 15 leaves of two sizes, then you have to wind the Florist tape. I also use Florist foam,Glue and stones. This all takes time - like ages. I have also made before the Plants from Pam's 3D Designs - OPW before.
Love the violets Lyn. Very realistic!
I wasn't going to make them as they take ages but found I had time. Flowers from One place and leaves from another.
Beautiful violets ,so realistic ,even brown thumbs couldn't kill these.
Hi mi30kaja, These Violets are stunning. They look so real. May I ask what Embroidery Site did you buy them from. Thankyou so much for sharing. Kind Regards Lorraine McNeill of South Australia
Flowers from Embroider Shoppe. Through Secrets of Embroidery and the leaves through Pam's 3D Designs. Think they are now through OregonPatchWorks.
