Update on Rob. He had surgery yesterday afternoon (again) to remove more errant gall stones. These gall stones is what caused the liver enzymes to rocket up to 500. I am grateful his body is forming cysts to try to isolate these stones. This is why the surgeon is able to find them. Rob has another drain (#4) which will remain in for longer than the previous drains were left in. The surgeon explored every inch and cranny he could (again). My husband's abdomen must be the most examined abdomen in history at this rate. Rob sounded so much better last night. Amazing after having been out of surgery for only a couple of hours. I am drained, but doing better. I am so grateful for all of the prayers and support. It is so much harder to manage this when your family is 1500 miles away. But God is so good. I have not felt alone even at my lowest point.

Thank God for his tender mercy Karen. So pleased to read your update this morning (it's 10.00am Saturday morning here as I write this reply) on Rob's condition. I know how you feel when you say you have not felt alone even at your lowest point. God's prayer warriors are hard at it! To God be the Glory. Love Chris

P.S. I was only thinking about this yesterday Rob is in God's hands on this most holy of holy weekends!

He had an entire cavalry of those little buggers hiding out waiting for an ambush, didn't he. I pray that all of them were found this time. Whew! You must be exhausted. You and your darling remain in my prayers.

Oh Karen, this same thing happened to Jim, he had liver stones that got stuck in the liver duct and he was turning jaundice .....this happened about a year after his gallbladder removal........they extracted the liver stones and he has not had a repeat episode, so hopefully this will be Rob's only experience.......he should recovery quite quickly now.....

Why haven't they removed the gall bladder? They did mine and you have no idea how great it felt after. No more stones. Praying for both of you.
