This is very upsetting for you! I know just what it feels like when you, personally, can not do anything to help your loved one. Keep the faith and know that we are all praying for both of you!
Hugs, Nadyne
PS, Wish we lived closer.
So very sad to hear this, Karen...you are both in my thoughts & prayers...
May God bless and care for you. I am so sorry to hear your sorry. God will make things better. Just let go and let him. That is all we can do.
My heart aches for you, and for Rob. I know this roller coaster too well, and wish you were not also on it, but at the same time, I am grateful they have determined just why all this is going on, and I hope that they have some way to combat this so he does not need to continue having surgery after surgery. Let go and let God comes to mind, but so often you just go one step at a time just doing the best you can to hold yourself together and love deeply your companion that you see suffering and trying everything you can think of to try to help them with the battle they are in. Know that Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ hear and answer prayers they want to hear even when we feel like we are wearing out the prayer channels to them. Breathe and do the best you can and try to feel the spirit if it is directing you toward any particular direction. Sounds like Rob may be a bit depressed which would be a normal thing when having to go through the trials of the last many months. Body systems work slower after anesthesia and pain medications. Trying to eat just small amounts every couple hours and sipping water several times an hour sometimes will help until the system gets back to normal. HUGS and more (((Hugs))) for your heart ache that comes across very loudly to my spirit and just wish I could do more than just listen. I hope you can take comfort and feel peace and assurance in the messages and more importantly through the spirit that will whisper to your heart. Pam
Dear Karen, by the time you read this post from me it would be half a day later. My prayers are with you all at this stressful time. May our Risen Lord bless Rob on this most Holy of days. I pray that Rob's appetite returns soon, but like many have said it may just be his body's way of reacting to the drugs in his system. Thinking of you at this time. Love Chris
I am so sorry to see your post this morning. Perhaps Rob just cannot face eating or drinking. Sometimes the drugs just do this. My thoughts are with you both.
Lean on Him, let Him carry you, whatever you need. Wish I was there to give you a shoulder and a hug. It has to be hard on you as well as Rob and I'm sure he's tired of being sick. I hope and pray he comes out of this depression and gets WELL. Take care of yourself-Toogie
Well, tomorrow is the day of GOOD NEWS. I pray, in more ways than one for you and Rob.
Karen. He is in control, don't let your faith waiver. He has a reason for everything. remember He says"My Grace is sufficient" His Grace will get you through all this. Sounds like Rob is depressed and I can understand why, he has been through so much. Prayers for god's will in your lives and an extra helping of Grace to help and give you strength. You are loved. Hugs Lillian
Just want you to know that I am thinking about both of you. Sending my prayers to you. Hugs Lynn
