Lovely bags, got everything so organized
lol-At least in my purse! I want to thank you again for all the links you find for us. You put me onto the Janome site and while I was there, found the bag by Anna Marie Horner, called the Right Turn Bag. I used her idea of strip placement for this front.
Love this so much! When I saw your post about your daughter in law's bag, I clicked on your name to see everything about the bag, then went and downloaded the pattern and here I am again! Inspiring, thank you - I may have to make this one.

Yes, please do and let all of us SEE ! Thank you for taking the time to look and reply.-Toogie
ps. The pattern is very LARGE , just to let you know. I think the one her model used on the pdf and in the beginning of the video, was smaller. Look at the very end of the video, how big hers came out. That's how big the first one I made came out. This one is not made from that pattern, just used the 'right turn' idea placement.
Thanks - I'll pay attention and watch the videos - I was thinking like you I'd do "purse size" not "tote size" - I'm comfy playing with patterns and sizing.
Lovely! You do such a great job with your bags!
I am anxious to try one but have to get my sewing room back. :-(
Hugs, Nadyne
You poor Cutie, I feel for you. Bad enough about the basement/water damage but to live in a mess for a while would get on anyone's nerves! forget trying to sew/embroider.
Well, we have to reward ourselves occassionally, I love your fabric...
Toogie will be very happy to receive such beautiful gifts made by Toogie :-) Wow, you are really doing great. Thanks for sharing - Maria
These bags you've done look lovely& enjoyed these lively colored prints too. Thanks for sharing your projects. :~D
Great bags. Like the pockets inside the bag to keep things in there place. Thank you for sharing Happy Stitching Brenda Lea
I do like pockets/places for items. It seems these work for me. I put one long,or wide rather, pocket divided into about 4 inches on the ends, and 3 inches in the middle. One 4 inch holds my sunshades, the 3" holds my reading glasses and lipsticks (don't put anything short or small there as you can't get your hand in there) and the other 4" would hold my meds & hand sanitizer. I made this small bag and put all that in now and just drop my keys in this 4" one. Now if my husband can remember in an emergency, that my meds are in this small bag! The zipper pocket on the back, I put my phone/mints. I would like to go even smaller, but I don't know what to eliminate. I don't know how women carry large bags, this one is heavy enough.
I to have down sized my bag, due to shoulder/neck injures. Most days only carry my card holder. It makes the pockets in my pants stick out but helps the neck & Shoulder. Thank you, Off to work wish I could be sewing. Have a great day.
The more pockets the better :) Beautiful bag and purse. Very nice work!
Awesome bag.purse!!!Well done..Love the pockets inserted!!!!
Another great handbag. I like how you adapted the pattern. thanks for the earlier links, too. they were great and I am going make myself one for this summer.
I hope you do and I hope I don't miss it when you post it here. If I do, send me a pm, with a heads-up so I'll look. Thanks-Toogie
Beautiful bags, Toogie...I love the colors and all the pockets...so glad it is for YOU!!!
Lovely!! Love the turtle fabric!! You are ready for summer with these bright
cheery bags and vvvery organized!
lol-I like to open my bag and find what I want, right away. My sister on the other hand, carries a huge bottomless bag, or at least it seems that way to me. She roots around, flipping things trying to find what she wants. I can't stand that-lol
That's a great set that you have made, Toogie, love them! Finally you have made something for yourself, well done!
Hugs, Lidia
Great work! I especially like the smaller wallet.
Good to see you do nice things for you!!
Cindy.
Thanks Cindy, I rarely keep anything I make, it's usually something someone else wants or needs. The smaller bag holds my meds, nailclipper and such.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM! I love all your bags you do Toogie, you have some beautiful fabrics to mix and match too. Love Chris
Great looking and good for you. Love your bags size too.
