I just have too much fun in life. I have a whole 3 hours today for myself while my hubby gets questioned, poked and prodded by doctors. He has to be evaluated by the Veteran's Hospital for disabilty. So I have my laptop, Kindle, hand embroidery and yarn and crochet hook. All of my projects make a hotel stay more than bearable. Don't be concerned if my time at Cute is a bit spotty. The internet at this hotel is iffy.

Praying all goes well for you. VA hospitals---praying he gets the treatment he has earned---I will make no negative comments---you are smart to take stuff to do---so many persons go to appointments and complain about having to wait---they do not take anything to do---too bad they don't have a hobby to do during their wait---I ALWAYS have knitting and a book to read---even at the gym on the bike I knit for a while and read a book and do simple texts on the phone---I do NOT talk on the phone at the gym unless an emergency or my kids---but I ALWAYS have my knitting in the car--NOT while I drive--only when I am the passenger--and I knit at meetings and Sunday School---even got asked to donate some knitted things for a good cause!!!! I have TOO MANY things to do and not enough time---but glad I am able to do for others--they have been so good to me--and God bless Y'all!!!

I can identify with you Karen. Ron goes to the cardiologist in Birmingham and that's an all day thing making the trip. by ourselves. Not overnighter but think it might would be better if we could spend the night instead of making the trip there and back in 1 day. Hope everything goes well for both of you/Lillian

I hope Rob's appointment goes well Karen. Prayers for you all. It's always good to be able to do your craftwork whilst waiting for appointments. Love Chris

I wish Rob good luck with the VA. I know that when Rich went they really put him through the hoops. I too take along my Kindle, yarn and crochet. Yesterday when he was to a Dr. office for 2 1/2 hours I was so thankful I had something to occupy my mind. I hope all goes well for both of you. Hugs, Mary

I'm not good at sitting un-entertained either. Glad you took all your play-pretties. Hope he gets some helpful evaluation today.
