LOVE it. I might have to give this a try this summer. Really pretty.
You have done a great job. Keep up the good work. These would look really nice in a quilt. Hugs Shirley
Thanks a lot Shirley :)
Yes it would.....you all quilters out there can do a great job on these.....go ahead and try it out!
These have turned out absolutely perfect Fatima. You are very adventurous in your ability to try anything. Keep on trying as this is the way you learn. There are always more than one way to try something and you've proven that by these examples. Well done, love Chris
Thank you so much Chris! Yes there can be many ways of doing something. ...we can find what suits us best! I enjoy trying out new stuff and specially if the outcome is good....its very rewarding :) I am very happy to be sharing it with you all as well!
You are a very adventures lady. Your latest try has turned out very pretty. Good job.
Thank you :)....I like exploring new things and Cute plus you all Cuties are an inspiration too!
they look great. You are doing well. These can be used for pretty much anything you want to use them for/Lillian
Looks good. Did you add a second layer of batting to get the rise and cut it out before the lines? How about echo quilting instead of stipple or lines. Keep us up to date. THIS is very pretty.
Well....as this was just a trial and I wanted to get it done on an embroidery machine I just hooped a cutaway and sandwiched a high loft polyester batting with the top fabric then embroidered the design!
After that cut away the excess batting....pull away the cutaway stabiliser. ...then added layer of fleece (as I didnt have any other batting) and the back fabric and finished the lines and outlining of the brown design on the sewing machine!
I hope I haven't confused you :)...lol!
I have been thinking of trying it too. That is the way I would do it. No confusion at all. Thanks for the information.
