Yea! We are home and I have internet again. It was so frustrating at that hotel. But I got a lot done on a hand embroidery piece because I couldn't get on the internet. And there was no WiFi at the VA. Let's hear it for being well prepared with a project and my Kindle. I just don't know how folks with no hobbies survive waiting. A very happy belated birthday to all whose birthdays I missed BTW. Rob did a great job at passing or is it flunking his tests to my amusement. But I am glad it is over for him. They leave no stone unturned, I must say.

Prayers that his disability will go through without any delays. I know that getting Social Security disability was a long trial. My attorney a retired Soc Sec judge had to prove I could not even do the job of taking subway tokens in an area that does not even have subways. Try as hard as I could, I failed most tests in a spectacular degree. For someone who was always a top student it was/is still mortifying, even though that is what is needed in order to qualify for disability. Back in the late 1990's the attorney said they could only challenge you and take you to court once so they tend to do it at the beginning. I have heard of so many who just gave up and threw in the towel. Sadly that process has caused so many to loose their homes etc. I do hope the VA which I know has a totally different system that Soc Sec, so hopefully they were able to get enough information in order to justify his disability. Hopefully the failed tests was not too frustrating for Rob. Hope you do not have to wait too long before you hear back. Glad you went prepared and made good progress on your hand stitching. Pam
