Beautiful bag and accessories! The accessories fit perfectly in the purse pockets. Super job! Joyce
Love your bag and all the accessories, great job. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching
I love the way you did the design with the black bottom. Very nice. The accessories are really great. It makes a nice set.
OMG.
I have to find the pattern because it is an awesome design. Great job sewing. It could easily pass for a High End awesome. Can I get on your Christmas list. I don't think I have seen anything nicer in any store.
No pattern for the bag, just let your creative juices flow. I don't like to use patterns because then they are not uniquely mine.
another great bag& some terrific accessories! well done~hugs~
I love your bag! Are there direction somewhere on how to make it? Thanks!
No pattern for the bag. I watched The Missouri Star Quilt Co. You Tube video where they used R-Foam for the base. Then I just did my own thing. (I always tend to color outside the lines )
So envious........wish I could sew like this.......beautiful set!!
I love this and have been wanting to make a tote from srcaps from one of my quilts. What pattern did you use or did you just wing it? I haven't made a tote before and am not sure how to get it even. What did you use in the bottom if anything to make it stiff?
This is my own pattern. I have been sewing for over 65 years (I'm really dating myself here) so there isn't much that I haven't done at some time or another.I used R-foam for the foundation so there is no need to use anything else in the bottom. Watch the You Tube video from Missouri Star Quilt Co. to get you started.
Just stunning QOH - love everything you've made. Aren't those tote bags fun to make? Love Chris
All the items and tote are beautiful. Black and white is a favorite of all of us, but adding a pop of color again is a nice touch. So you used the R-foam stuff in your tote/bag here? How did you like working with it?
I used the R-foam and while it is a bit pricey I love the end result. I have the fusible stuff and I don't think that it is really necessary to use that, but the fusible is very easy to work with. However once the bag is completed you cannot get the iron all the way to the bottom of the bag so you can not fuse the lining all the way down. The only way I know to do that would be to fuse the lining before you sewed up the sides but then you would have raw seams. The straps are real easy to make using this product. I can get 2 bags like this out of a 18x58 cut.
Wow , great job! I love the bag pattern. Is it a bought pattern or did you make it up?
I made it up using fabric that I had left over from a quilt. The embroidered square is a free design from Amazing Embroidery.
Wow!!!Awesome work..Love it ,stunning fabric and projects!!!!Well done
