Good for you Sue, it's always lovely getting a new sewing machine. I hope it's everything you wished for. Love Chris
Congratulations, looking forward to seeing what you can do with this one.
What made you decide on this machine versus any other? My local sewing machine shop has someone trading in their 15000 and said I could probably get it for a good discount if I am interested. I like the larger hoop sizes but I would like to know what swayed you to choose this model over anything else
Thanks and most of all have fun!
I decided to stick with Janome as my local dealer is fantastic. I've had the MC11000SE for about 4 years and wanted bigger hoops. I considered the MC12000, but I discovered that is shortly to be discontinued. (The hoops are the same.) Then I found there was a good price offer on ex demo models which I couldn't resist!
Thank you so much. I didn't know the 12000 was due to be discontinued. My dealer here in Aust may not even be aware of that yet. We seem to be a number of months behind.
How exciting, Sue! I can't wait to see what magic you produce with the new one :)
Congrats, Sue.........is this a 2nd or 3rd machine? So happy for you!
It is my third. My first one went to Scottie and my sister took the second one yesterday.
Glad to hear your waiting is over, now the two of you have to get to know each other. Have fun
And what name will you give her?
I think it is a he. It is large and rather ugly. At the moment it is "the beast"!
Oh Boy how much fun is that! Don't you just love the smell of a brand new sewing machine!
How exciting.I read with interest the comments on the Yahoo Group. I will have to be content with what I have (I love my machines) for awhile as the house needs all our extra funds at this time. So much to do here (carpet, remodel kitchen and bathrooms, landscaping and on and on.) Becky
Well Done! I hope you enjoy the machine as mush as I enjoy mine. I took a brave plunge and bought mine as soon as it was released in the UK. Got a very good bargain for purchasing early. The credit card has recovered from the shock. In my defence I say "As I have never wanted a car of my own you could say the theoretical car sits in my workroom!"
You are just so brave. I kept my new machine in its box for a couple of days!!!
My dealer took mine out of the box when I bought it so no chance for it to stay in the box. I took it home on the back seat of the car.
Excellent news I bet you were that excited you didn't sleep last night. Can't wait to see what you get up to with your new friend.
How absolutely wonderful for you Sue! I am thrilled for you & as mentioned it was nice seeing you but understand why we won't be seeing much of you while you become better acquainted with your new machine! ~hugs~
Congrats, Sue! Nice to have such a large hoop, it makes life a lot easier when you want to sew BIG designs - no splitting, no second hooping. I bet you'll be burning the midnight oil.
Unfortunately it has come at a very busy time. I'm just going out to choir practice, we also have appointments for the rest of the week. Big sister (newrecruit) is coming tomorrow to take away the 11000, so she will need some intensive training.......
Congratulations Sue, can't wait to see all your new ideas.
Congrats and it's been nice knowing you here. We'll miss you, stitching away at your new machine.
Whoo Hoo! Congratulations! It is so exciting opening up a box with a brand new machine in it! Happy Stitching!
Congratulations Sue.....feeling so happy and excited for you!!! :)
This is wonderful news, congratulations and have fun. Now your creative juices are flowing, I bet.... :-)))
Good to find out what you finally decided on for a new machine! I think going from the 11000 to the 15000 is a great move - better than having gone to the 12000. The 12000 isn't as much of a difference from the 11000.
Have fun with your new machine - I know you'll love it!
The 12000 is shortly to be discontinued. Actually it is quite a lot different to the 11000. The hoops are the same size as the 15000.
Yes, the last time I was at the dealers, they commented that the 11000 and now the 12000 was because they don't need so many TOL machines.
That's why theye had such good prices on them - so anyone wanting one, it would be a good deal.
Wonderful news! I am looking forward to all the ingenious projects you do with it.
Flowers for your garden -- as always.
With that size hoop...I can see I will need my future new machine to test your future ITH projects.
Back I go....making money for my required testing machine then.
Wow! Lucky you. Mine is still on the wish list. Great to know you have already stitched out a few built in designs. Hugs Shirley
How wonderful for you. Bet you didn't sleep too well last night LOL. I would love to have this machine as I already have the 11000SE don't see any way soon to have it. Looking forward to your new creations with this wonderful machine. Enjoy!! x Lyn
Wonderful! enjoy... forget to credit card just enjoy the machine..
Good for you, worry about the credit card later, there is plenty of time for that.
A big congratulation. Christmas in April. Have fun.
Yippee! Enjoy many years of happy stitching. The credit card balance will get better.
Congratulations Sue! You are going to love everything about it! Joyce
Have great fun with your new machine and I look forwards to seeing all the great projects you will create with it
Who cares about your credit card balance? More important :A NEW MACHINE!!!!!!! Have fun!
