The dress is beautiful and your beautiful daughter wears it well, Great job.
Pretty dress ....your daughter looks stunning too. I love the bag too. Hugs..Shyam.
This beautiful dress is really one to be remembered - and you did it on your SEWING machine ???
I stitched the design on the fabric with my sewing machine, yes. I either sewed over tissue drawing or I traced it onto the fabric, I can't remember. I do remember using the tear-a-way behind it though. I just did enough fabric for the top of the dress and the bag. I made the bag, but my friend made the dress. My friend made all Ashley's gowns. She was in things at school, Homecoming and Proms, and my friend makes these kind of dresses. I paid her of course, couldn't expect her to work for nothing, but I know she gave me a good rate. My friend also made my daughters gown when she was Homecoming Queen, you should see that one! It has yards and yards of tulle.
Wow, your daughter is stunning and so are her dress and bag!
Thanks for sharing these pictures.
Hugs, Lidia
It was some time ago, her Jr./Sr Prom. She is now married with children, but still beautiful to me!-Thank you for looking-Toogie
Looks like the date is no longer "in the picture", not in this one anyway. lol
A work of art Toogie! Your grand-daughter looks stunning by the way. Love Chris
Beautiful daughter....Excellent work done on all!!!!
Beautiful...just beautiful...both the dress, bag, and your daughter~
Yes you can see the sequins. It is stunning as is your daughter.
How stunning!! Your daughter was very proud - I am sure!! Hugs, Laura*
She is very creative. She can do things I can't do, such as flower arrangements.
She must have been the belle of the ball.:-)

Nicky
I agree she looks quite striking in this beautiful dress & such a unique shape for her clutch! Very pretty. ~hugs~
It opened up to be like a square, I guess. I made it up and I know I used plastic canvas in the 4 sides to hold the shape, probably the bottom too.
It is really beautiful! She looks absolutely stunning! Well done.
