This is a baby afghan I knitted for a woman in my church. They took him at about 4-1/2 months into the pregnancy and he weighed 1 lb. 5 oz. about three weeks ago. He is gaining weight and improving slowly. Since I'm sure I won't be seeing her for a while, this will have to wait until later to be given to her.

Thanks,
Maureen

Dear Maureen, this is a great blanket - the chevron stripe is great for little fingers as they don't get caught in them (also for the elderly too). I know it will be greatly appreciated. Love Chris

That is so beautiful very well made. If it is at all possible I would give it to her now. I worked with a lady who had a grand daughter born very early in the pregnancy she weighed no more than a tub of margarine about 500 grams. The parents spent hours at the hospital doing shifts in a chair beside her. This little girl is now 6 years old.
I am thinking it might be a comfort blanket for the Mum.
