I've been attempting this for awhile now and finally it came together. Outline of leaves with sheer fabrics and bits of string or other pieces of colored fabric sandwiched in between. I also hand stitched the leaves to be folded; more like a real leaf. I

Summer time place mats, stitched on 100% vinyl woven 14x 14 square. Just wanted to try as see if it would work. All 4 corners, top is the 3 strawberries and the one with the fork and knife is on the bottom. Thanks for peeking. :~) hugs
