Two very old t shirts that needed a face lift. The designs are Painted Flowers from Urban Threads. I just put a piece of frayed calico under one and a piece of pink gingham under the other. I am quite pleased with the results.
Have made these guest towels for someone who only wanted three colours used. They have come out better than I thought they would. I just love my new machine. Sarah.
Out to supper tonight - just thought I would make the other ladies going a little present. I have made them with denim and lined them in gingham to match the stitching. Just need to cut of a few stray 'whiskers'. Sarah.
At long last I have made a tissue holder with my new machine and large hoop. It was easy (I was dreading it) and I am thrilled with the result. I will certainly be making more of these as they will make super little presents. Sarah.
Not embroidery I am afraid but a close up of the detail I have put on a shirt for myself.I folded the narrow ribbon that I used in the neck to put down the placket front. It was terribly fiddly to do but I am pleased with the results. Sarah.

Been unexpectedly invited out to dinner - no time to go and buy a gift. Thank goodness for my embroidery machine. Tea towels always go down well. Thank you for looking. Sarah

My suitcase got torn when travelling on local airline. Have covered the tear with a design sewn on tulle and iron on cutaway and then stuck on with contact adhesive. I am just hoping that it stays in place. Sarah.
A friend asked me to make her SIL a bridge cloth. It looked so boring I decided to add her name and the four suits of cards to one of the corners.
