I shall look like a bag soon. The two with names on are an order and the two with pugs will go in the same parcel as a trial to raise funds for the charity I support. Thank you for looking.
I know, more bags. Promise this will be the last. I think that this is the end now. All lined with waterproof material and no raw edges.
After making so many bags for so many people, I decided that today I would make one for myself. I found in my stash a really nice pink velour. There was only a tiny piece but just enough.
More bags. These ones are gifts to my friends. I think I can now make these in my sleep. The lady I made eight for now wants another five!!
Last of my bags for an order of eight. I so hope the lady will like them. The backs are stippled and they are fully lined with no raw edges. I have learnt so much making so many bags.
MORE BAGS Trying my hand at something else. The elephant is an order and the blue one (my favorite) is a present. Second picture is the back of the elephant bag. I have never tried stippling before and I am pleased with the result.
BAGS I have an order fof some make up bags. These are my first two. Thank you Kim (dragonflyer) for all your help. All fully lined with no raw edges.
How many men use handkerchiefs these days? Well my SIL does. I know that he likes white but I couldn't get any in our small town. I hope he likes these with his initials on. Sorry the navy one does not show up well in the picture.
I have been a bit nervous since my hiccup with my embroidery machine. I decided that today was the day. Machine just purred along and I think Georgie is going to be thrilled with this. Horses are her passion.
Small gift for a friend who loves owls. This beautiful owl is from Vicki (basketkase). It was a joy to sew, even on a fairly thin tea towel.
More things for the retirement home fete/ fair. These are eye glass cases. Thank you Kim (dragonflyer) for your wonderful ITH design.
A friend has been making heat pads for the fair at the local retirement home and asked me to embroider "Keep warm" on the covers. Unfortunately the covers were already made and impossible to embroider. I have now made these labels that we can cut out an
Thought I would try a slightly different bag. The design is from ThreadsnScissors. I have written to them today as I think there are some instructions left out. I am delighted with the result and I have lined it with waterproof material.
It has been several months since I embroidered anything. I felt quite nervous when asked to embroider some tea towels for the spring market held at our local retirement home. As you can see my machine made me proud. I still have more to do but at least I
A couple of weeks ago I posted a towel for a friend who is 90 very soon. There was a comment about perhaps making a picture of the design. I though about this and decided that the design was so fantastic (digitized by basketkase) that I made a cushion. I
