My diaper making project, so far. I do not have any baby butts to try these on so I feel like I am winging it! I know, that are not as fabulous as Karen's but I'm pretty happy with them anyway! I sure hope they work!

Self Binding baby blanket. There is an embroidery design in the center of each but the pic doesn't show it. I just put it there to hold the two layers together. Maybe I should have posted it in sewing...... 2 layers of flannel.

I made this receiving blanket today with fabric I had. I got the "self binding receiving blanket" tutorial from the link I have added. I thought it went together pretty slick. There is also a tutorial on Youtube, see link below.

I made this for my son who lives in Louisiana. I got the crawfish from Emb. Library for $1 this week. I looked up "crawfish sayings" and thought this was pretty funny so I used it. The alphabet is from Sew Forum.

Question: I have seen designs that are just parts of a face, like a snowman with just the hat and eyes, nose, mouth etc, no face part in the design. What are these types of designs used for? Thank you.

This is the new 2013 freebie from Sadie Sews. It is small, 2 1/8" across. It is very nice, I love this as my Dad tats. I'm going to see what he thinks of my "tatting"!

FSL Battenberg ornament from Emb. Library. This is a new design and there are several variations that come in 3 sizes. This is the medium and is about 5". I used cotton thread. It sewed up very nicely.

CD Coaster made with Apex's free Breaking Bad design and Sue's CD Coaster. Sewn on faux leather. Weird show I hear, not my cup of tea but lots of people like it.
