I have a question about lettering. Sometimes the last letter stitched in a word will start to ravel out. Do I need to glue the thread underneath to keep it from doing this?

Anyone use Stitch Era Universal? When I try to do an automatic design it tells me the "Needles are not contiguous. Do you want to fix it?" Can someone tell me how to fix it? Thanks, Nanc
