This is my version of toogies hobobag. I expanded the bottom so I could gather. I ended up with elastic which makes more sense. I tried to put in the zipper using the directions and nope did not work, so I looked it up online and discovered I did it right

I made this hanging organizer by folding a piece fabric selvage to selvage to make the pockets. I started with a piece that was not squared and used the fullness towards the bottom which gives the pouches room for papers. It does fold nicely in half. Jus

This is stitched on white burlap with a felt backing. I am still not sure if I should frame it or back it. I used a sparkling gold fabric for the applique cross. The pic is incomplete for privacy.
