Friends, I could use help with stabilizing a sweatshirt/jacket for redwork on the back. Would you use tearaway or cutaway? The design is large, wouldn't cutaway be bulky? Thanks, Marji
At times with a lite woven fabric I iron a fusible interfacing to the back before I embroidery. Does any one elce do this?

Stabilizer can be expensive. If you cut about 1and 1/2 your needed length you can use it 2 times.[ 5x7, cut 8x20 for 2 designs] Use one end then unhoop and use the other end.
Anyone with a Brother or Babylock, when I use a 75 needle my Maderia thread shreds and breaks. Does anyone have help for this? I am fine with an 80, at times I need smaller sz. Thank you.
