How do I keep metalic thread from coming off the spool so fast? It curls up, makes ratsnests ect. I have to sit and hold tension on it to keep it from making a mess. I have a brother1500D.

Nothing but trouble trying to embroidery. The thread brakes, the needle broke then the material, stabilizer and thread get wound around the bobbin case! What is going on?
