Just took a look at my files and need to start copying to cd, and back up, and copy to my external drive. I can't believe what we are collecting from here. Haven't started downloading from here.
jrob - you told us previously of a site where you get your thread. I misplaced the address, and wonder if you would mind letting us know of it again? I wanted to get the 12 wt thread. Thanks.
Bunnnycup has a free Easter set up now - just in time for Easter. www.bunnycup.com - free retired sets.
Well- did not plan things well. I have tried 30 wt thread in a FSL basket, and have run out of thread. I tried a new brand, and had 2 spools, but now have to get more! Plus bobbin winding!
I won't add anymore of my projects that I have been doing in my spare time this past week or two, but wanted to share since some of these are of different types of embroidery.
Have any of you tried resizing FSL projects? Shirlener - know you do a lot of these. I have a book mark that I want to do a little larger, and don't know if it is recommended to resize.
Nice to know-I was reading something explaining the difference between font s and alphabet. Fonts are designed to be used in emb software. Alphabets are single designs brought in one at a time.
Hate to leave you girls for the night. This has been a very stressful day had to drive 250 miles in pounding rains to attend a meeting for work, and just too tired to continue. Good Night!
raels011 - Tell those cutie pie redheads of yours that they are special and a vanishing breed. I have a redheaded grown daughter and they say that there are fewer and fewer redheads being born. :
Did you all know that if you save your pieces of WSS and put them in a container with water that the solution can also be used as a starch with your projects? Just keep a small spray bottle handy
For those of you who like the bowls and lace designs look at www.myembroideryhaven.com. She has freebies in some sets. Haven't tried hers, but some are really beautiful.
CUTE, I just noticed the NEW applique section! Fantastic! And just in time for Easter. And this is one of my favorite things to do. Love it! Thank you for adding this to our many choices.
A hint for our threads while being stored. Some of my thread does not have a way to secure the end while sotred. I bought little pony tail eleastics for babies, and use these for those spools.
I really must say good night to all of you good people - I have to get up and work tomorrow, but hope to be back in the evening for chats and to see all of the new projects. **** to you all.
I made my first 18,000 stitch mistake! My mother always told me, sew on Sunday, take out double Monday. Didn't take them out, but just tried to make something from my silly error. Will post later
