Some weeks before I have seen 2 octagonblocks on a russian site (Link, scroll down), only the picture no pattern. I liked it, but don`t find any pattern because I don`t know the name of the block. So I must figure out myself and this is what I find out.

Second part of the Birthdaygift for my GD. I made the jacket matching the strawberrydress and the new skirt. The jacket is practical, because she can make a better fit with the ribbon on the back and the cuff on the sleves. The Embroidery is from

This dress is the first part of the Birthdaygift for my GD. She likes dresses whith a bellshaped skirt, so she can turn around and the skirt goes up. I hoop, she will like it.

Do you know this "armbags"? You can put money in it or a key during travelling or jogging. With an other fabric children can use it too. I like to make this as quick gift. On the red one you can see how it will be closed.

What do you think about this? I layed down all my mini leftovers of fabric and of thread on a lightweight fabric and then I sewed oll over it. It looks as a new fabric. I used it for a pendant.

This is, what I did the last days. I want the spring on the wall too. The pansys in the middle part are from Fat Cat Patterns (free) and are sewed with a satinstich on the background, the designs on the bottom are made in the hoop. Pansys are a freebie

There are the rabbits for the Grandsons. The pattern is the same as for the chickens, the face wars a freebie last year, but I modified it with the stuffed part. The fabric is from my swatches may be, this is to stiff.

First preparation for Easter. I have to make 2 more for my 6GD`s and 3 rabbits for the 3 GS`s. The eggcups I found in a 1€ store. They matches the chickens perfect.

The cushion cover I made the same way as the pincushion, but with only 2 colors to match the tablerunner. I have the embroidery not on the correct place, the next will be better;-)
