Hippie Sunbonnet with 32 changes of cotton!!!! Embroidered on a pillowcase to try out but she is lovely. Design plus more a gift from a lovely friend.
My tissue cases were not good but having been given the idea for zipped ones - well you can see the result- much better.
A visit by Wendy Clear from Australia (right) to Gill Emmerson in England. Two worldwide cuties together!!
Now am into T shirts not Towels. I bought a pair of yellow 3/4 trousers and failed to find a top to match so out came the spare white T shirt and the result is as you see it. Hope you like?

Here we go more as promised. Decided our boring bathroom needed a lift unfortunately the small ones did not come out too well. I tried to find a design not too dense but went too far the other way!
I wonder if perhaps someone can help. I followed the thread re: uploading photos using compatibility view but have come to the conclusion my photos are too big - SO how do I make the smaller? Help
Apologies for picture quality having problems but been busy today embroidering towels (more to follow) any towel in the cupboard with no embroidery will soon have some. Watch this space!!
Thank you to the community cuties who gave me advice on quilting my own material. It took all of one day (so tedious) anyway here is the finished article you asked to see. I am very pleased with the effort but it will be some time before I try to repeat
Having got one question sorted now need another. Two pieces of material one cotton one silky lining. I need to quilt the two together and the question is what kind of batting do I use? Is it wise to, glue to prevent ruckling?
I know lots of you are sewers as well as embroiderers SO if you were going to quilt your own material to make a jacket would you - Quilt the whole piece of material first and then cut out OR cut out jacket pieces and then quilt them? What do you think is
This is a Pennant I embroidered for my WI. It is to be part of a bunting for our federation and displayed at events celebrating 100 years of the WI in the United Kingdom. The strawberries are a symbol of the fruit grown in the village.
