This is my attempt at purses. Hope you like. They are quite time consuming to make but worth it I think. Been working towards a joint craft fair with other like minded folk.
I have been playing with Hair Clippies. Not sure about the correct way to go about making them but quite pleased with the result. These were the only small designs I could find so did some Christmas ones too.
Hurrah I have completed my bedroom decor. I am quite pleased I made the effort and thanks to Mops the embroidery. Just noticed the bed cover is upside down. Hey Ho can't be perfect all the time!!
My soon to be 9years old Granddaughter expressed a wish to learn to knit and requested a starter kit so having purchased needles , wool etc I made her a bag to keep it all in. I was unable to find material with a wool design - this one is cupcakes!!
My second picture is of 4 pillowcases embroidered with a smaller version of the design. The store only had 1 pillowcase in stock so I purchased a single flat sheet and made 3 more out of it. Still got a bed cover/throw to complete and 2 more cushions -
This is my first picture taken of 2 cushions I made using the wisteria design that Mops did for me. I played around with it a bit in this case putting 2 designs together, taking out 1 set of leaves and making the whole thing bigger. Hope you like it all
Thanks to all who gave advice on my quilting. I was actually using the wrong wadding. All correct now, fairies quilted. All finished ready for Christmas! The pink panel are Sue Box Fairies the rest Michael Miller Petal Fairies. Now have another 2 to m
I thought I had uploaded this once but hey here we go again. How do you like my 'Blob' family? I call them stress busters as they are soft, warm, furry and squashy!
I need help please. My quilt-top,wadding,bottom are all pinned together. Now what? the centre is one big panel, above and below there are seams. Can anyone suggest how I quilt it to stop everything moving about. I intend putting bias around the whole
We have a friend who is in his 80's and is always getting teased about carrying his bowls in a supermarket plastic bag so I have made him a new one! Hope he likes it. Sorry the picture came straight off my camera so unable to turn it round.
My owl family. Thanks Efemera for the project, they are so easy to make I am surprised not to see more. The lilac one in the centre was my prototype stuffed normally but then I decided to stuff the others with Lavender, they smell lovely.
More. Are you fed up of seeing them? The young ones like the Pink and Lilac.
How is this, Primary Colours for another Granddaughter too old for pink!
Another 2 names nearly done now 1 more to go. Has anyone else had a go?
My granddaughter liked the elegant ladies so embroidered one on a t shirt for her. Hope she likes it now.
