Saw this at omasplace, and knew I had to make it for my sister. Center one was first, then two more pastel for her and a dear friend.
Finished off quilt tops to take to my sister in NC for her church quilt group. Don't know why they are sideways. They've been in a semi-finished state for a while, but now I'm going to visit. In a nice pile with their backings and bindings.<br /><br
This is my Valentine's Day project for my friend. Her initials are LB, and she uses ladybugs in her quilts and labels. The coaster is from the files of the good times. I love it.
I fell in love with these, and just kept making. The first one I embroidered the faces separately , then set them into place. Then I got smart and merged them in software. Went much faster and I could use the circle quilting. And now Kreative Kiwi has
Got the grand's ornaments for this year done and handed out.
Spent a week over Thanksgiving on the beach in NC where I shared a lot of time with my grandson, hunting-and finding-shark's teeth. Now it's time to make ornaments for Christmas. I thought it would be super to make him a fsl tooth. Posted here if anyo
Fell in love with this fish from EmbLib, and made a pillow for my daughter. She's not big on embroidered clothing, but she did like this. Yeah!
I so love this pillow I made for my great niece's birthday. They embroidered sooo nicely. I might just make one for myself.
I made easter bags to hold goodies for the grands. Very pleased, they are so nice. From bejoscha.tavernmaker
I made a couple of towels for Valentine's Day. Great rw from Kreative Kiwi. I super starched them and didn't need stabilizer .
Towels for my dil . I miss Treetrunk designs, over 10,000 stitches each, and no thread jumps.
Nutcracker bottle topper for my dil's Mom.
Rag baby quilt, done on flannel. The only quilting was the design in the block and a straight line about an inch inside the sewn seam. Hardest part of these is all the little cuts to rag it, but it was summer, and I sat outside as I did it.
A baby quilt of bugs for a friend of my daughter, mostly from Stitch it Cheap, with a froggy background. I do like using the snowball block.
Pillows I made for my GS,Derek, for his birthday. I was so happy that he asked me to make them.
