As you can probably already tell I am gonna be a pest for a little while until I get the technique down, but I was wondering, can I use any embroidery thread on this machine or a specific 1?

Thank you all so much for your help. I did got to a Viking dealer yesterday and have done tons of research on the net, and after all that purchased a Brother PE700II machine last night on HSN.com!
I am very new and very fascinated with the embroidery community and machines but am so completely confused about what machine to start out with. HELP! :)
