Help please!!!! I have been conned into making curtains for the childcare ctr my daughter works at. They have supplied thick rubber backed material and sew-on tape for the hook things. My question is...... For the width, do I make it 1 & 1/2 times or 2

For those who have the Brother 4000, what bobbin fill do you use??? I have tried several different brands with horrible results. He works wonderful with Brother bobbin fill but I would like to find a cheaper alternative. Thanks. xx
