ITH BIB. Inspired by hightechgrammy's bib I digitised this one. The front is cotton, the back towelling. It's stitched almost entirely in the hoop leaving a small opening for turning.
Bibs I just had to try the 'bapron' pattern. They are lined with the printed flannel you see in the background. I digitised a small boat similar to the ones on the fabric and copied it 3 times. Made a second bib and enlarged the boat pattern. I p
Bib My daughter asked my to digitise the logo of the Dutch Club in Stavanger. I did a test on a white bib, but they preferred orange. So here is #1.
3 towels and 1 blanket. Every year an acquaintance of mine is host to one or more children from the Chernobyl area. This year too she asked me to embroider a couple of gifts. The top left towel has Pluto - a design built in my Brother 190D. The
Small bathrobe. Made this for a customer. Had to digitise the name too as I did not have the correct font on my computer. I usually embroider on the left front, but my customer wanted the design on the right. Not such a bad idea, the design might b
Had to finish this order today - shirt front and back and a name on the cardigan, the baseball design was already there. The new born size is always a bit fiddly even when you hoop stabiliser only. The boy was named after his grandpa, hence the text o
Shirt and bib for my grand niece. There's a very tiny decoration on the birth announcement. I combined a few birds and a heart I digitised some time ago and used thread the colour of the card - though it looks different in the picture.
FSL bookmarks. I really had to do something other than digitising the alphabet - so boring! So I stitched these out. They are 54x99 mm or 2.12"x 3.91" and have 13.761 st. Took me 42 minutes to do two in one hooping. The outline is a bit thin to m
Here's a picture of some of the marble mazes I made at my daughter's request. She wanted them as a gift to my GD's Barnehage (Norwegian Kindergarten).
Pirate hat. My granddaughter wanted a pirate hat. I had a wool felt cone in my millinery stash, steamed and formed the brim, which I left raw. I may have to add a headband to make it fit. Then I digitised a drawing and tried to stitch that dire
Eye glass case with mylar design.
April Challenge. Some 50 years ago I got a sewing thingy made from an octagonal piece of lovely fabric - see image on the left and the bottom. I like the idea but it irritated me that the result was not symmetrical. So I changed Sue's octag
Maze with small marble in it. The design fitted a 200x240 mm hoop. It is made from the back of a leg of a pair of discarded jeans. I did not particularly like the bee, so I digitised a small butterfly for the next one, for which I'll use the other
ITH needle keeper. This is made in a hoop that is at least 100x200 mm. I changed the reel design slightly and added a needle. I used yellow linen and a thin batting.
Bookcover I punch some felt from the back on the flannel, then embroidered it with one of my own appliqué designs.
